About this work

This painting is about freedom and the extraordinary power of wings. I love painting birds, but what fascinates me most is their ability to rise above hearth, move freely through blue skies and see the world from another perspective. The open wings become a symbol pf possibility, independence and the courage to go beyond limits. Through vibrant colour and movement I wanted to capture the feeling of release; the sense of flight, exploration and the possibility of looking from above.
