About this work

Part of the series "THREADS"
Threads of Belongingrefelectsthe special place cats hold within our families. More than companions, they become part of our daily lives, our memories, and our emotional world. The delicate threads connecting circular pieces from my past paintings suggest the invisible bonds of affection, trust and belonging that grow between us and the animals we love. The cat surrounded by layered colour and organic marks, becomes a symbol of that quiet but powerful connection.
